Wordy & Wild's Journey

Wordy & Wild all began in August 2024 after Alice felt frustrated with the quality of the products from other subscription boxes. She started from home, sketching designs on her iPad, scouting new releases, and packing boxes herself. Support from the bookish community meant Wordy & Wild grew bigger and bigger each month.

Now based in its own UK warehouse, at the new Wordy & Wild HQ the operation still follows the same process: ideas become illustrations, illustrations become products, and those products are packed with care and sent out each month. Each month we showcase monthly reveals, optional swaps, and dispatches on the 1st. This is a book box subscription created with love and a true passion for books.

Meet Alice

Wordy & Wild is a one woman band ran by me, Alice (HIIII 👋), an artist and fellow bookworm. 

I fill the boxes with products that – as a bookworm – I would love to receive myself. I personally draw every design on my iPad and then find manufacturers who can bring them to life for me!

Every month, I sit and scour through the new release books and have the honour of selecting the book for each genre alongside the book swap options. I have the dream job, I know! 

I absolutely adore the bookish community and have found my home in the people here, I hope you can feel the love I pour into each and every box and I can’t wait to bring some joy to your doorstep monthly!
